Training

-Training should be bought in packages of 8credits.

-Packages are designed to be used with 8 days of boarding (added fee) or 8 days of Daycare (added fee).

-Initially a minimum of  2 training days per week are essential in order for the training sessions to be effective but 5-7 days a week are ideal.

-In some cases a twenty minute consultation or private session might be used as one credit of the 8 day package.

Usually a filled in questionnaire and a quick conversation with an owner is enough to get started on a training plan. In some cases we will need consultation time with owners to make sure the approach or techniques being used are carefully considered.  This can be very important if there are past training experiences or trauma etc. – In this case one $64 private consultation will be required and one credit would be used leaving 7 training credits.

Training with Daycare

When training is used with daycare: we will work with you pet throughout the daycare day when the opportunity arises. Sometimes, it makes sense to spend an hour at the beginning of a daycare session to establish a well-behaved dog. Then hopefully the pet can enjoy the rest of its day with some better manners.

Training with Boarding

When training is used along with boarding. You can expect us to take your dog outside 2 to 3 times a day. Session length depends on the dog’s attention span and what we are teaching it.  We will ensure a minimum of an hour of active training per day.  With boarding your dog will have its own room as usual. You can choose any size of room and then you can add on a training package like any other service we offer. You can alternate days of training versus a single package like ,Silver, Gold, Platinum. The more training days you choose the more effective we can be while your dog is here. Often clients like to have a private session when they pick up to see what we have been able to accomplish so they can follow through effectively at home.
